This photo was ELEVEN years ago…scouting the location for my FIRST FALL Family Photo Day!  My business took on a life of it’s own as soon as I started. I still can’t believe how far I took it. What an amazing journey!

I’m so thankful to my family for their support and to my clients for their loyalty and support as well!

Unfortunately my body is telling me to take a break.
It’s actually been trying to tell me that for years but I’m finally listening.
Basically I have cervical spinal issues (affecting nerves leading to my hands) that make it hard for me to work at a computer, hold a camera, drive, etc.
I also have a vestibular disorder affecting my balance and vision.
I think you get the picture. Time to put the camera down and get off the computer too.
I believe everything happens for a reason and this is God’s way of saying it’s time for a break.
Figure I should listen before the messages get even stronger.
Time to focus on my health and my family.
I feel blessed in a way to have these messages.
Taking this break from work allows me to enjoy the time with my kids who are growing up way to fast!
I wish I could say when I will be back but I’m not sure. Taking it one day at a time.
Check back here when you are ready for your portraits to see if I’m available.
If my website still has this notice up then I’m not working.

I know that picking a photographer is hard so I want to help you find someone by sharing names  with you.

These are photographers that I KNOW PERSONALLY,  TRUST with my beloved clients and ADMIRE PROFESSIONALLY.

I’m off to spend time with these beautiful people I’m lucky enough to call MY FAMILY! Can you believe how big those two girls have gotten since the above photo? They really do grow up too fast!

Visiting my mom (who lived with us for 11 years with Alzheimer’s) in her wonderful NEW nursing home. She moved in Summer 2017 and is doing great! She misses the kids but has a much better quality of life there than in our crazy busy home.  She even gets to help out in the mail room! This is so exciting as WORK (as admin) was one of the things she misses most being sick.
